Welcome!
Since 2014 I decided to persuit one of my biggest interests in a more active way: Astronomy. Since I was a kid, I always wanted to do something related to astronomy, but the reality of my country of origin (Venezuela) did not allow it.
The day that I decided that I could try to do something related to that was during a country trip to the coasts of Falcón, Venezuela. When the night fell I looked at the sky, as always, but I noticed something incredible: since there was absolutely no light pollution, I was able to see the Milky Way with my own naked eyes. I had my semi-professional camera with me, so I took some pictures. Honestly, the results were very disappointing, but I decided that I was going to make astrophotography one of my main hobbies.
Since then, I have been trying to learn as much as possible, following blogs, videos and trying stuff by myself. For every new season of pictures I take, I am amazed to see how much I have improved over time, but I also feel that I could still be improving. And it is about this improvements that I want to focus here: I want to create a page per each object I capture, and keep showing how it improves over time when learning new techniques or upgrading my equipment. For that reason, I want to clarify that all pictures published here are mine.
Now I live in Madrid, which is a city with high light pollution. However, my parents live in Santa Pola, Alicante, and this is the place that I use to capture my data, because of its clear and dark skies. Since I cannot travel there all the time due to work, entries in this blog will be seasonal, depending on when I am able to travel.
This will not only be a place for visitors to learn, I also want to hear everyone's opinion, because every input can teach me something.
