This is a single session of 60x60s frames, using my Canon T5 camera on my SkyWatcher BlackDiamond 150/750 telescope, and stacked using Deep Sky Stacker with darks, dark flats, flats and bias frames. No dithering. Post-processing was done using Pixinsight. This picture was taken in Santa Pola, Alicante, Spain, on June 20th, 2017.
Walking noise was a problem during post-processing.
Later, I retried this object using my Canon T5 camera on my SkyWatcher BlackDiamond 150/750 telescope. This is the result of 3 session for a total of 203x60s light frames, along with darks, dark flats, flats and bias frames. stacked and processed using Pixinsight. It was taken in Santa Pola, Alicante, Spain, between August 6th and August 13th, 2020.
Improvement is noticeable: the clouds are more defined, the contrast is better and and the details are less blown up. Also, by dithering during the sessions, the walking noise was eliminated.
